i’m not famous, but from an outside perspective i do know a little bit how the system works. Luke CAN NOT defend himself a huge majority of the time. He can’t, for various reasons that aren’t amidst my own knowledge as of right now, but I know he can’t say shit, even if he wants to. Luke can’t even “sheesh” to a person without deleting it, he’s is under a ginormous spotlight, and there’s rules and guidelines he has to follow and on top of that he technically doesnt owe anyone an apology even if it hurt you, he doesn’t owe you, or me, an apology. And that’s the gritty truth of the world. Welcome. And once you realize that you won’t be a pissy person i promise. Let’s not forget ASHTON didn’t apologize for anything. CALUM didn’t either, Michael didn’t say anything particularly bad. But oh, of course you only talk about how Luke didn’t say anything, gee i wonder why.

You really believe that that magazine was the raw truth and not manipulated in such a way to make it entertaining and get people talking, get people interested in 5sos by making them big sexy unattainable rockstars who drink all day and party all night? You don’t know how journalism works.

I don’t know those boys personally but Luke has never, ever, ever acted like how they described him outwardly. Actually, no magazine has ever written them out to be that way, people that actually spend time with them and get to know them, don’t write them that way. You don’t find it a bit strange that only one magazine, out of them many they’ve been in, out of the many written interviews there’s been, they only sound like pricks in that one. In rollingstones magazine where it’s their job to make people sound like that? Again you don’t know how journalism works.

The fact that his family, friends, and girlfriend spoke up is enough. You know why they did that, because they know he’s not in a position to. So don’t pull that shit.

Moving on, there are people who baby him and put him on a pedestal, yeah. That’s wrong, he doesn’t need to hold people’s hands or blow his dick when he’s upset that there’s no more ketchup.

ive seen him get compared to hitler. someone said they wouldn’t be surprised if luke turns into a r*pist. someone also threatened to k*ll him at a show, someone also kept harassing luke in every picture he posted saying they hope he gets hurt in various ways and luke had to block them, and i saw them brag about it after, ive seen people make up rumors about him asking underage girls for nudes and then when they were caught in a lie that admitted he didnt. ive seen people talk about how they hate the way he stands, they hate his hair they hate his clothes they hate his..FINGERS..i saw someone going off about his fucking hands oh my god. i saw a post attacking the way he looks that wasnt light and for the lolz it was cruel shit and people were cackling at it and he’s attacked left and right and he still doesn’t wanna fuckin leave the band. i mean he can’t go on twitter and look through peoples shit bc he’s legit afraid to.

oh not to mention that every time he does something, it’s wrong.

story of his fucking life he can’t breathe without someone pointing a finger at him saying he’s worthless. Guess what, other than that rank article, most everything else that has surrounded him has been other people’s fault. Luke is not responsible for the people around him actions, he gets caught in cross fires, he’s notorious for it and i’ll give you that, he’s basically a front man, a hot blond frontman with a girlfriend and  500 millions things opposing him that are dedicated to formulating shit to tear him down of fucking course you’re gonna hear shit. i heard he smokes crack and that he got 7 girls pregnant just the other day, eh. But technically, you follow that long string of yarn that’s connecting all this drama, Luke isn’t at the other end. It’s not my fault if you look at something someone else does and blame him because it’s whats easy.

Luke can and will fuck up, he isn’t a saint. I hated him for awhile actually and wanted nothing to do with him and i thought he was far from good. Luke isn’t a god, he doesn’t deserve eternal youth and all the money in the globe and for people to kneel before him so he can use us to wipe his feet off, no luke is fucking dumb ass white boy with privilege, thats what he is. That’s the truth of the matter. 

but despite that, he does deserve basic human respect. he does deserve people looking more deeply into things to try and see a bigger picture and not scanning the surface because you want to make him out to be the bad guy all the time, he does deserve forgiveness, and patience. Especially because he’s trying, and it shows. He is not a monster. You can’t look at luke, straight in the face, and say he’s a monster. Luke is not a bad person. Luke does not deserve this overwhelming amount of hate and for people to hold on to articles from December that was a fucking joke anyway.

and you know how i know he doesn’t deserve the shit he gets, prime example, you messaged me this. You came into my inbox here today and called him a fuck up on the very same day he talked to a fan about their depression, thanked them for sticking with the band through all the drama, consoled them because they’re were bawling about their cracked phone and told them that he loves them. And you still sent me this, irrelevant ass message regarding things that dont matter anymore. That’s how i know he gets shit he doesn’t deserve. For fucks sake all he does he does is eat, and wear pointy boots with jeans as a casual look which i still personally think is weird, and dance like my drunk aunt would to bartender by t-pain.

He is not a fuck up. And you don’t love him. Now get the fuck out of my inbox with your petty shit.
